Actually feeling pretty good. Working on some good ol’ php - probably not a site I’ll ever launch, but I’m using a full class structure and keeping the database layer completely seperate from the code, along with a few other things I haven’t done in php before.

It’s keeping me busy, and after the last few days that’s what I really need. We’re applying for the house on Tuesday, which I’ll have to take the morning off work for, but if we get it it’s going to be worth it.

Had a pretty bad fight with Lucy this afternoon, but we’ve pretty much done a good solid few hours talking since and I think we’re doing a little better. Got things out in the open, and let me say what was really on my mind which really needed to happen.

Makes me concerned about moving in to another place, though, I really don’t want to subject our new housemate to bitching. I can be polite, but there are certain things which do push my buttons - no excuse for anything really but it would be stupid to pretend it doesn’t happen.

The trouble is, if Lucy pushs my buttons, I get angry and everyone hates me. If I push Lucy’s buttons, she cries and everyone hates me. If I just leave, everyone still hates me and I feel rude to boot. Not a great situation, but I’ll try to perhaps make small talk as I take it like a bitch. People like small talk…

Anyway, I’m getting back to work - implementing classes atm, not the most fun part of the project but it might be ready to push some html out soon which is kind of exciting.
